I need your honest opinion

A behind-the-scenes look at my own unfiltered shenanigans from the marketing trenches. A real-life, no BS view of what it's really like to market a small business and ideas to make it all feel a whole lot easier!

Happy Tuesday!

'Tis the season for doing some of that end-of-year planning (anyone else got the bug?!).

One of my big goals for 2026 is to provide valuable, usable ideas and resources and frameworks that you could put to work in your own business with very minimal energy and money.

And one of the things on my brain lately is HOW to provide information (you, know, without just throwing a bunch of stuff at you!).

So here’s the idea I’ve been toying with: a quarterly, low-key webinar. This would be something you could join from the comfort of your couch, fuzzy socks and all (either live or catch a recording at any time). Each one would be a deep dive into a single topic - practical and totally relevant.

But… I’d love your feedback before I commit (because it would mean I am actually going to have to remember how to host a Zoom webinar 😅).

Below are a few ideas I’m considering - I would love for you to tell me which one (or ones!) sound interesting enough that you’d actually want to attend?

Idea #1: Social Media Planning: The Exact Plan I Follow

We'd walk through the exact system I use for social content - from brainstorming ideas to organizing posts and keeping it all manageable. Plus, a deep dive into how I have learned to streamline my content creation by turning one idea into five pieces of content (once I figured this out it has completely changed the game!).

Idea #2: SEO + GEO: Not As Scary as they Sound

There’s a lot of confusion and intimidation around SEO. And now there’s this new term floating around - GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) - which basically means optimizing for tools like ChatGPT or Google Gemini. Spoiler: it’s not scary. For this I'd break down what each is and how to easily cover your bases with minimal effort and zero tech meltdowns.

Idea #3: Google Search Ads: Why They Are Clutch + How to Set Yours Up

This ideas stems from the fact that I’m convinced 95% of small businesses aren’t using Google Search Ads, and are missing a great opportunity. This session would be a step-by-step walkthrough on setting one up so you can capture people who are literally searching for what you offer, right when they’re looking for it.

Idea #4: How I Market the McCall Winter Carnival for $0 Every Year

I actually just did a presentation on this topic at the Idaho Conference on Recreation and Tourism and I thought it might be fun to expand on. There’s this big misconception that we spend thousands on ads, but the truth is, it’s built almost entirely on free organic strategies. In this session, I’d break down exactly how I make it work and how you can apply the same principles to market your business even if your budget is zero.

Oh, and if there’s something you wish someone would "just explain already," hit reply and let me know what to add to my list! I would love to turn those ideas into webinars or blog posts or resources for you!

I really do want to make sure what I create for you in 2026 is actually helpful and not just one more thing to add to your to-do list!

Thank you - sincerely. You are awesome!

A behind-the-scenes look at my own unfiltered shenanigans from the marketing trenches. A real-life, no BS view of what it's really like to market a small business and ideas to make it all feel a whole lot easier! I have some pretty big news. I’m hosting my first-ever webinar on February 11 at 10am MST, and we are going straight for the topic that makes otherwise confident, capable business owners quietly close their laptops and say, “I’ll deal with that later.” SEO. Yes. That SEO. The big bad...

A behind-the-scenes look at my own unfiltered shenanigans from the marketing trenches. A real-life, no BS view of what it's really like to market a small business and ideas to make it all feel a whole lot easier! This year I embraced my witchy tendencies. And yes, there is a slightly witchy side of my personality - ha! During Yule I did a 13-day intentions ritual in lieu of trying to make New Years resolutions. It's pretty simple - you write down 13 intentions for the year, fold them up so...

A behind-the-scenes look at my own unfiltered shenanigans from the marketing trenches. A real-life, no BS view of what it's really like to market a small business and ideas to make it all feel a whole lot easier! In 5th grade, I did a science experiment to test which cleaning product worked the best. I've always been a bit obsessed with cleaning. It was all part of learning the scientific process, controlling variables, and analyzing data as objectively as possible to get real, data-backed...
